AcralMed Extra Wide Underpad Armboard
The extra wide underpad armboard provides exceptional arm support while maintaining clear imaging during diagnostic and surgical procedures. Its radiolucent construction allows C-arm systems to capture unobstructed images without repositioning the patient’s arm. This practical design improves workflow while supporting patient comfort throughout the procedure.
The armboard features a generous 21-inch by 13.25-inch surface. The extra-wide platform provides increased support compared to standard armboards. This larger surface helps comfortably accommodate a wide range of patients and positioning requirements. It also helps reduce arm movement during imaging and treatment.
Constructed from durable radiolucent material, the armboard allows X-rays to pass through without creating unwanted image interference. Healthcare professionals can obtain clear images while maintaining proper patient positioning. This feature makes the armboard an excellent choice for imaging tables and procedures requiring frequent C-arm use.
Installation is simple and efficient. The armboard slides underneath the table pad and remains securely in place using the patient’s weight. This design eliminates the need for clamps or additional mounting hardware. Staff can quickly position or remove the armboard as procedural needs change.
