AcralMed Bariatric Drop-latch Armboard
The bariatric drop-latch armboard provides secure arm support for larger patients during surgical procedures. It attaches directly to compatible operating room table side rails for fast, reliable installation. Its proven drop-latch design delivers dependable performance in demanding surgical environments.
Simply lower the armboard onto the table rail to engage the weighted trigger lock automatically. The locking mechanism secures the armboard without additional adjustments or tools. To remove the armboard, lift the trigger lock and raise the outer end. This simple release design allows quick repositioning between procedures.
A finger latch trigger at the outer end provides smooth 180-degree rotation. This flexible design helps staff achieve proper patient positioning for many surgical specialties. Quick adjustments improve workflow while maintaining a secure connection throughout the procedure.
The armboard features a durable steel casting for exceptional strength and long service life. Its 3/8-inch thick black phenolic surface withstands frequent cleaning and daily use. The non-porous surface resists moisture, chemicals, and wear in demanding operating room environments.
Measuring 10 inches wide by 26 inches long, the armboard provides generous patient support. It fits all American-made operating room tables with standard side rails. An optional armboard pad, item # AMB413, is available separately for enhanced patient comfort.
