Description

In operating rooms and central sterile departments, equipment transport requires durability, hygiene, and precise maneuverability. This cart is engineered to meet those demands. Its fully welded 16-gauge 304 stainless steel construction provides exceptional strength while supporting strict infection control protocols. Because stainless steel is non-porous and corrosion-resistant, it withstands repeated exposure to harsh cleaning agents and sterilization processes without degrading.

The seamless, fully welded design is particularly important in clinical environments. By eliminating joints and crevices, the cart reduces areas where contaminants can accumulate, making it easier to clean thoroughly and maintain compliance with sterile processing standards. This directly supports patient safety and reduces the risk of cross-contamination.

From an operational standpoint, the cart is designed for ease of use. A built-in handle allows for controlled pushing and steering, which is critical when navigating tight hallways or busy surgical suites. The 3″ casters provide smooth, stable movement across different flooring surfaces, helping reduce physical strain on staff while protecting delicate instruments during transport.

Customization is another key advantage. Facilities can select from multiple sizes to match their workflow requirements, ensuring optimal space utilization. Shelving configurations range from 2 to 10 shelves, with 3 being the most common setup. This flexibility allows the cart to support everything from lightweight supply transport to high-volume instrument movement.

Design features that improve usability:

  • 1″ lips on the sides and back help contain items during transport
  • A downward front lip allows for easy loading and unloading
  • Adjustable shelf count supports changing operational needs

Overall, this cart delivers a combination of durability, hygiene, and adaptability—making it a reliable solution for high-demand surgical and sterile processing environments.
