AcralMed Ventric Mayo Stand
The ventric table, also known as our extra large mayo stand, was developed in response to ongoing feedback from surgeons and operating room staff who frequently asked, “Do you have a larger mayo stand?” After extensive research, design, and prototype testing, we created a solution for demanding surgical environments.
The ventric table provides a substantially larger work surface beside the surgical site. It keeps more instruments and equipment within immediate reach. This added workspace benefits cardiovascular, neurosurgical, orthopedic, and other complex procedures. Staff can organize supplies more efficiently without overcrowding a standard mayo stand.
Despite its larger size, the ventric table delivers excellent maneuverability. Three swivel casters allow smooth movement throughout the operating room. Staff can position the table quickly, even in busy surgical environments. Although it does not fit beneath a standard OR table, this rarely limits its use. Most orthopedic, spine, traction, and specialty tables provide ample clearance beneath the surgical field. The ventric table positions easily where additional workspace is needed.
The ventric table also offers a significantly higher weight capacity than traditional mayo stands. Standard mayo stands typically support 50 to 60 pounds. The ventric table safely supports up to 100 pounds. Its heavy-duty construction provides exceptional stability for larger instruments, power equipment, and surgical devices. This increased capacity makes it an excellent choice for demanding procedures.
Choose between two spacious tabletop sizes to meet your surgical requirements. Model MYS770 features a 30-inch by 26-inch work surface. Model MYS771 offers an even larger 32-inch by 30-inch tabletop. Both models adjust from 36 inches to 56 inches using a convenient hand crank.
A marine edge surrounds each tabletop to help keep instruments and supplies securely in place. The raised edge also mirrors the design of traditional mayo trays. Durable 4-inch SayNo2Rust casters provide smooth, reliable mobility. Two locking casters hold the table securely during procedures. The removable operating handle stores neatly within the leg assembly when not in use, keeping the workspace organized.
