Description

The Aluminum Base IV Pole is a great choice for clinical use in any medical center.  It is lightweight, easy to transfer but yet will not corrode or rust.  All materials used in the construction of this IV Pole are designed not to rust or corrode.  It will last for many years under normal use.  It is also backed by our 2 year limited warranty.

Starting with the 3″ roller blade style casters, these are plastic so they will not corrode or rust.  the dual plastic wheels will not scratch or mar the floors of your facility.  They also roll quietly on most hard surfaces.  The grip ring stem makes them easy to replace with a rubber mallet.

The base is constructed of polished aluminum.  Aluminum is a non-ferrous metal, as is stainless steel, so it will not rust over time.  They have very different properties and uses but when it comes to longevity and resistance to corrosion, they are similar.  The polished surface gives a very nice appearance and will look good for many years.  Make no mistake, aluminum is very different than chrome.  See the difference here: Chrome vs. Stainless steel

The pole is our sturdy 1″ 304 stainless steel construction up to the soft touch friction knob.  the inner pole continues up to the 4 Hook top designed to hold your IV bags.  This portion is all stainless steel and will last for many years with a good appearance and resistance to rust or corrosion.

This IV Pole is now in stock and ready to ship in very large quantities!

We do not recommend using this Aluminum Base IV Pole for infusion pumps.  For that, go to one of our infusion pump stands such as the 5-leg spider or 6-leg spider.  If you need help choosing the right IV Pole for your facility, check out our blog post on Choosing the Right IV Pole.
